ARCH Angels Architects is a Brighton based architectural practice passionately committed to providing cost-effective, sustainable building design. We operate mostly throughout Brighton, Sussex, and the South. Our top priority is fulfilling the specific design requirements of our clients, as we believe that making the green choice shouldn’t mean having to compromise.
Nicola is a Registered Architect and has over 20 years experience, specializing in sustainable architecture. Working for a variety of large and small practices across Sussex, she was inspired to start her own practice in 2001. Richard is also a Registered Architect who embarked on his architectural career in 1996; achieving the Diploma in Architecture in 2002 plus the RIBA South East Region Award for Design Excellence.
Established in 2001 as Nicola Thomas Architects (NTA), the company has developed a wide-ranging portfolio of work in the residential, commercial, sports and leisure sectors. With Nicola Thomas and Richard Zinzan joining forces as co-directors, the company re-launched in 2009 as ARCH Angels Architects. Since then the business has continued to expand, tripling its turnover in spite of the turbulent financial climate.

ARCH Angels Architects take great pride in maintaining the integrity of professional architecture; combining environmentally responsible building practices with the highest standards of design.
We are members of the Architecture Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) as well as the AECB and The Planning Agents Representative Group for Brighton & Hove Council.
In addition to this, we are The Green Register's Regional Coordinators for the South East. We've also recently joined the Federation of Small Businesses and become members of Constructing Excellence
