Transforming Tired Spaces into Vibrant Ones
Transforming Two Quirky Properties, Brighton
Transforming tired spaces into vibrant ones is a particular specialism of the interior’s team at ARCH-angels. The two properties are very different in scale and type, the first being a flat within a 1960’s purpose built block and the second an Edwardian Terrace house. However, the aim of both sets of clients was to maximise their space in an elegant yet functional way.
The client’s brief in the 1960’s block was to optimise the space of the entire flat and to give it a more contemporary feel. With carefully well place furnishings, the flat has an understated purity and tranquility. The client of the Edwardian property merely wanted us to make the entrance hallway and stairwell a more welcoming and airy place. Our intervention inspired the owner to undertake further modernising elements to the property as he was able to view his home with fresh eyes.
Re-introducing light into the spaces of both projects became a central theme and the team executed this by thoughtful simple interventions, contemporary fittings, the use of natural wood and elegant finishes.
The series of before and after shots in the gallery above depict the transformation from tired to vibrant, elegant and welcoming.
