The goals of this project are shared with many modern families; to create more space and light throughout; to have a seamless connection to the garden; for the kitchen and dining areas to be comfortable spaces to use; and if possible, to squeeze in a WC on the ground floor.

By reconfiguring the existing kitchen and utility room spaces we created a new bespoke kitchen with sliding/folding doors to the garden. The kitchen and the refurbished dining room are now connected and coherent spaces and enjoy underfloor heating throughout. We managed to get a WC in under the stairs, and on the first floor, we reconfigured the family bathroom and the third bedroom.

As is standard in all of our projects (where applicable), we specified low maintenance materials, high-performance windows and doors, AAA rated energy efficient appliances, low flush toilets, low flow rate taps, efficient light fixtures and environmentally friendly paints, all helping save energy and reduce carbon emissions.
