pops of colour

hove, east sussex

Bold use of colour creates this playful, contemporary home. By adding a simple, single storey full-width rear extension, we were able to rationalise the existing ground floor and create a bright open plan living space for a busy family. The scope of the extension fell within Permitted Development rights, which meant that Planning Permission was not required.

The kitchen and dining space flow seamlessly into the family lounge and onto the garden. Large sliding doors with minimal frames capture the view into the garden and create a wonderful indoor/outdoor experience all year round. Pops of colour create focal points within a neutral palette of materials.

Polyester powder coated aluminium doors open up completely to the deck and garden on warmer days. High levels of insulation, low maintenance and durable materials and environmentally friendly paints make this home not only a joy to live in, but easy to take care of too.
